To train National and Higher National diplomates in Computer Science, Food Technology, Glass and Ceramic Technology, Statistics and Science Technology who would be able to contribute meaningfully to the technological and industrial development of the country.
To develop and nurture a culture of academic research in the school among academic members of staff especially in areas of Applied Research and Adaptation of Techniques. This is achieved partly through the organisation of periodic seminars where the outcomes of research activities are presented.
